    great value but not luxurious

The staff were very welcoming, making my brief stay a pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with all the basics like Wi-Fi and TV.

    Expectations should not be luxury.

perfect base for exploring scenic parks and historic sites

I had a wonderful stay where I enjoyed the beautiful views of the Sierras and appreciated how conveniently close I was to both the Mono County Museum and Bridgeport Reservoir, making it easy to explore during my weekend walk.

Do recommend for a fleeting pause

Comfortable bed, cozy cabin, with free Wi-Fi and an electric kettle for a nice morning brew, making it a pleasant spot just before the highway typically closes in late October.

    No complaints.

    fantastic bed
    stunning view
    noisy neighbors
    small cabin
    basic amenities

Charming old cabins with fantastic beds made for a cozy stay. Rooms were clean and allowed for a lovely night with the door open, feeling completely safe. The peaceful setting was occasionally interrupted by noisy neighbors, which was a downside, but the stunning view of the Sierras more than made up for it. Enjoyed relaxing outside under the stars—saw a shooting star!

    clean cabin
    beautiful views
    lack of activities

We had a great one-night stay here, checking out Mono Lake the next morning. The cabin setup was pretty basic but clean and cozy. My teenage daughter particularly loved the beautiful views in the morning, making our stay relaxing and memorable.

For dads, it would be great if the cabins had more activities for teens.

    helpful owner
    comfortable bed

Good for a couple looking for simple stay

I liked that they had a hot water pot for heating water and there was a propane grill available. The owner helped us set up to clean our fish after a great day out hunting for dinner.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain but honestly worth it for what you get.

    spacious cabin
    friendly owners
    frustrating thermostat

We had an awesome weekend with friends! The cabin was spacious and clean, perfect for our group. We explored the snowy mountains and enjoyed some local restaurants nearby. The owners were incredibly friendly and provided extra blankets for our stay, which was much appreciated!

The only downside was the thermostat. it took a bit of fiddling to make it work properly, which was a minor hassle.

    charming cabin
    no air conditioning
    poor communication

    Charming feel of the cabin.

Unfortunately, the stay was filled with frustrations. The lack of air conditioning made the cabin uncomfortably warm, which really affected our sleep quality. Also, the self-check-in process was poorly communicated, leading to anxiety when we arrived and found ourselves unable to access our room for a while.

The cabin was spacious, clean, and warmly decorated, making it welcoming. I appreciated the extra blankets provided, and the location’s stunning Sierra views right outside my door made my stay even more enjoyable.

A small table in the room would be helpful.
